Your profile says that you’re from Texas. I know that Texas does everything bigger, but bigger gas prices belongs to Los Angeles, CA. When you combine the highest gasoline rates with a driving city, a Prius could be a big monetary difference in that ever diminishing wallet. For the thousands of Priuses you saw, kudos to their drivers for being environmentally conscious and saving themselves from the ridiculous $5.00/gallon.
